Iv been fortunate enough to drive one and also been able to drive a 182 set up with cup dampers and springs on a equally rutted B road. Both cars performed well. The trophy was the most pin point, but the 182 was more able to soak up the bumps from my experience. Not sure when the trophies...

I think he means buy a trophy. ;) That would be my choice. You can spend loads of money making a 182 like a trophy...but it will never be one! Its your call, personally if it was my money, I would just get the recaros in and refresh the suspensions top mounts, dampers and bushes for new stuff...

Is there still a market for car like this? The engine might be worth a bob or two, looks like its running standalone and on ITBs. Would be a nice bit of kit if it was fitted in a less visually offensive car.

Yer, why only OEM parts?! There are some brilliant aftermarket bits that are tried and tested and can make a real difference.

This... The Sachs dampers are a gimmick. For a road car you would be better off buying some good coilovers that dont cost £600 every 20k to have serviced and rebuilt! Jack

There isn't much shields do. Once you shut the bonnet all the heat is trapped in there and it will find a way around the shield. Manufacturers use the boxs for a reason ;) unless you re route the filter well out of the way (down behind the fog lights for example) open filters are pretty useless...

They were cut to a very high standard...if thats possible?! You could see where the original coil had been cut and not smoothed off with a rough edge, and under the black paint you could see the distress marks where the metal had been heated and bent around to make the "pig tail". Much happier...

Non of us would get insured on it. It's far too limited edition! Plus the running costs of two turbos would be astronomical in comparison to an non turbo 182 or even the baby 172! Haha.
