Yeah with the ammount of times you press them over the age of the car something has to wear out, the other half had the same probs so bought a new key which sorted it, but at a cost of £130 it's a lot of wasted money imo that's why I'll struggle till it's totally fooked before I buy one

my neighbour does it for a living so only charged me £25 and i got the shims for the bushes tigged in for free :D if any one wants anything painted i'll be happy to get a price for you he did a load of other bits for me and its all spot on

they've been blasted and powder coated just to cope with the stones and shiz on our roads, cheers for the sock comments guys :clown:

I managed to do the same thing too!!! I had another bolt made 8mm longer, covered it in thread lock plonked it in and it's been fine since, or if you need the car in a hurry, take the brace off that goes between the bolts and you'll have a quick fix to get you by

cheers dude i may have to take you up on that one the engine is coming out of the car at the end of this month to be rebuilt and i'm not sure how far i'm gonna go before i put it back in, :approve:
