Cool! I wasn't sure how much is universal and how much is Vray specific.
Amusingly there is a book that's landed on my desk, C++ for unreal engine, apparently I'm to do a cpd on it in 2 months so we can get funding to expand into VR.... not going to happen.
Not sure how relevant this is but pre complex Brdfs (GGX) we used to layer up materials, then blend the materials with a fall off map to simulate reflections based on viewing angle.
But that's the whole point of a hot hatch...fun!
Performance means f all especially when most hot hatch road drivers could be beaten by an experienced driver in a much slower car.
People buy based on looks and how it feels to drive not the 0.2s its quicker to 60 etc.
See this kind of thing all the time driving the tractors or wagons. Bloke last month tried to overtake while I was turning right into the farm clipped the front and spun into the hedge, made a right mess.
Oh I know just didn't want to start confusing people, the whole system was a nightmare to deal with especially when you mixed in about 3 different computer systems you had to navigate.
Pretty much if the place you bought it from can't get it replaced before then. (Rules changed to 30 days in 2015)
Apple are very good if you ask them to replace/fix stuff even out of warrenty hence why I don't mind spending the extra on there products.
I think usually apple would have replaced...
After the initial replacement period (14 days etc) Apple are actually a little bit different in that all repairs/replacements go back to them irregardless of where they came from.
It was a nightmare when I worked in Currys because they would only deal direct with the customer and some people...
Not 100% but my 5s was when with ee but that was a while ago.
So do you give the phone back after 11 months?
I've always bought the phone outright then resold it for 60-70%ish so it's only a few hundred upgrade but that sounds cheaper.
I suppose because it's a pretty iconic feature of Apple products for the last 10 years, soon as you see it you think Apple.
I don't think it's mechanical on the 7, I'm sure it was mentioned in the keynote.
