Didn't the 'genius' try to 'test' the phone, the hassle I got last month when having my misses 64gb 5 replaced for various issues was unreal.

Mine goes from 100% down around to 3% pretty much everyday with around 7hrs usage and 15hrs standby.

Yep, mine does this too.. The 'geniuses' will probably offer to 'restore' the phone to get out of replacing the handset.

Tbh the only reason I've got it is because it used to be a MobileMe account, the 32gb handset does me fine.

Avg usage I'd say: Also guys letting apps run in the background will shag your batt, if your phone is just laying on your desk at work turn off 3-4G when not in use.

That one in the pic isn't mine, but a few of my mates are pretty careless and end up in similar situations. Not sure if the 5 has the Gorilla glass, for all the difference it mate on the 4/4s, they still smashed lol.

Indeed tho some people are careless, it also comes down to how you use your phone, some have them in their hand/on their person 24/7, in bed, the bathroom, in the gym etc so things like this, can happen:
