That's nonsense from what I have seen the 172 cups have made the most power. My 172 at 130k made 172bhp at Surrey Rolling road. if you just have basic mods than I would go for a RS tuner remap, it transformed my car TBH.

They'll probably fit over the standard 1*2 brakes ok, It's just how much they'll stick out. You'll find out once you fit them I guess.

Not sure mate. The Palmersport ones at IIRC ET38 are the lowest 2118s I know of. These didn't fit over my 4 pots. Where did you get the wheels from?

The futuras aren't exactly hard to get in and out of TBH.

My Compbrake 4 pots use the same size pads. I bought a set of DS3000 pads for them from www.balancemotorsport.co.uk

Take it to Renault to find out if it's been recalled and fixed already. Or you could take it apart, grease it and re fit it. Failing that fit some aerocatches ;)

I would personal keep it. The clios are pretty tough,and don't cost much to run/ maintain.

That's nothing my Clio is on just under 140k, and has done very little over the past 2 years!
