I have done that there was some slight movement . Is ment to be solid tight ? Or some amount of play

So would worn rack bushes make it impossible to align the steering wheel after a tracking ? As i have this problem i cannot get the steering wheel straight been on all sorts of geometry machines but still no joy. And there was no play anywhere :/

Clio 172 winter project New hub pinch bolts turned up £6 quid on ebay as opposed to £8+ each from renault .

Re: Clio 172 winter project started the car up last night for the first time in months started first time on the key :) ran a bit lumpy for about 10 mins but soon cleared can feel some slightly more vibration due the vibratech mounts but nothing dramtic imo . gave it a few blips with the ktec...

Clio 172 winter project Few rubbish pics :) Front brakes fitted need to reprint calipers . Wind deflectors fitted New renault sport gearknob fitted And thought id take a pic of my jack thats helped me out loads :) I can confirm this car will be on road by end of jan :)

Fitted my wishbones this evening and i found that it takes quite a bit of force to push the wishbone up and down ? The arb is not attached . But I really do have to yank onit to get it to move up and down ? This normal or somthing wrong here ?

Its the long bolt that goes through the hub .

I need two new hub pinch bolts as the threads have messed up . Where can i purchase these ? Ive looked online cant seem to find any ?

Ye was pretty slippy mate wernt doing silly speeds tho cus that roads not the best to be speeding on anyways . Problem we had was horses all over the road lol was nice to get out of carmarthen for an hour to be honest lol
