Only reason why i say that is because i have tryed it. All you would need to do to properly shorten the shift (not the hight of the leaver is move the pivot point higher, but it will make gear changes slightly more heavier. nathan

iirc, you can run a volvo/rsi alternator bracket to rid of the pas. A guy on here with a 172 engined mk1 used this and has a manual rack. why not use the elctric rack found in the diesel mk2 ph1's and take a reading from the abs unit.... if your keeping abs.... which i dont think you are.

valver and willy brakes are the same.

straight swap, just need bonnet and lights, ph3 bumper fits. when i swapped mine years ago. car is a Ph3.
