i rip mine to hd using dvdshrink.. then i convert the vob files that dvdshrink has created using AutoGK.. both freeware and work perfect I set all my movies to be 1400mb (choose custom size in autogk)

you might have problems playing lots of the movie files, depending on the codec/s used to encode some of them... i used a ps3 in the front room, then all the movie files are on a pc on my network that is a tversity server.

download ultra mobile 3gp video convertor.. then find a serial (by paying for it cough*) done

personally, I have found the best thing to use is dvd shrink to rip the dvd, then I use autogk to convert the file to xvid.
