Another small update - binned the falling apart leather gear knob and got a nice new neo-chrome one :D
Also taken the battery out to treat the rusted battery tray you can see in the pictures in the last update
Ok so I wire brushed, sanded, cleaned, killrust primer'd, and killrust black gloss top coated all previous rust patches and bare metal that could rust on the boot floor... It's not the prettiest of jobs, but I haven't done it to look good, just to prevent it from rusting even more...
It was listed for $9990 but I got it for $8990 which works out about £4.5k.
Sounds expensive but cars are so expensive over here!
A nice 182 would fetch £8k over here! $16000 I've seen one for sale!
Yeaa there's not even an active nissan forum out here :/
Well I didn't know anything about the Clio before I bought it? I don't really research tonnes into details before I buy a car, only common problems etc. I went to a NZ Honda meet last night and they seem pretty cool and know their stuff...
Ok so I've given it a clean and have noticed some things!
First thing are the wheels... They're DTM wheels which I think are pretty good aha, they're on 235 tyres so pretty wide, but the rear wheels look like this:
There any way it could be saved? Or do they need a refurb?
Also noticed...
Im gonna apologise now, I can't/don't know how to multi-quote on tapatalk
Not sure my dad filled it up for me (what a babe), I'll report back once it's empty ;)
So I managed to get it home in one piece haha took it out for a spin and I f*cking love boost!
(Sorry for iPhone pics)
But like all 16 year old cars it needs some tlc!
It's also had a battery relocated to the boot (I think he had a sub)
And there was some random...
