Holy thread revival
On a 1.2L I found 16" fine but a little harsh and heavier to steer (182 alloys), I run 15" now.
I have 20mm spacers on the front and 10mm axle spacers on the rear. Everything clears the standard brakes, I have bigger Peugeot calipers and 1*2 discs on mine, plenty of room...

Returning with my tail between my legs, started on the button first time for a couple weeks then returned to starting on second turn.
Replacing the fuel sender is next on my list to try, failing that checking the TDC loom further back for any damage (Mine had been cut up a bit on a previous TDC...
I find the tabs on top of the airbag can get stuck. You should be able to push down/hit the airbag section while pulling towards you and it should come free.
On one of mine these tabs bent and wouldn't let the dash come out, had to remove the passenger airbag through the tiny gap underneath too...
I'm over the moon with the shell. It does have some scabbing hidden in the fuel filler and a bit on the arch where the bumper rubbed after a bump but all in all its great. I think this one lived life in the city so never suffered major water ingress at speed for extended periods. Its at 101K so...
6) Solved the issue of starting every other key turn. New genuine loom and TDC sensor. Existing wiring was already hacked into/splitting. Bit risky with only 5mm of loom to play with but I didn't f**k it up and it starts on every key turn now.
7) Scuttles replaced. Cup washer tank and new...
Lots have happened but will try to summarise:
1) Flight mode engaged, cleaned under panels and rust situation assessed. Scabbing here and there but nothing scary. Will give me something to do over winter
2) Rear quarters inspected: SPOTLESS. Rust prevention and sound deadening applied

My Royal wheel was quick but had lose stitching around the back side right where the thumbs grip (MK3 wheel around 3 years ago). Tbh wasn't bad enough to kick up a stink but it would make me go with Snappy for the next one if you can weather the turn around times - only heard good things
I read that too, I bought a second hand pump in case the new TDC didn't sort it. I have also read the horror stories of refitting the pump housing ring so glad the sensor fixed it for me 😅
Mine would also only start on second key turn. Genuine new loom section + tdc sensor sorted it, now starts first time every time. No idea on cost/place to buy from as it came with the car! Hopefully it sorts your issues

Check sills and arches as well. Tinkering and maintenance is fine but additional thousands in cutting, welding and painting might kill the fun. At least that's what I was looking out for when I got ahold of mine

New front and rear bumpers acquired. If you read this Darren you are a legend! New exhaust holes cut so it looks proper once more. Few scratches here and there but not massively cracked with flaking paint so that's a win in my books - most Clios need a respray anyway...
Colour looks off because...
as @JamesBryan says I the eBay compatibility is generally awful. It says that it doesn't fit my Clio either! I got mine from CarPartsInMotion on eBay. (partsinmotion.co.uk is their official shop)

Now the gear assembly is fixed it needed realigning. A pain as always but it's now perfect - along with the Redline MTL it feels fantastic
Slight notch 3rd to 4th at 5K+ rpms if I am fast on shift but it's commonly known these boxes cant be rushed, I don't know the full history of the box but...
