I find the tabs on top of the airbag can get stuck. You should be able to push down/hit the airbag section while pulling towards you and it should come free. On one of mine these tabs bent and wouldn't let the dash come out, had to remove the passenger airbag through the tiny gap underneath too...

I read that too, I bought a second hand pump in case the new TDC didn't sort it. I have also read the horror stories of refitting the pump housing ring so glad the sensor fixed it for me 😅

Mine would also only start on second key turn. Genuine new loom section + tdc sensor sorted it, now starts first time every time. No idea on cost/place to buy from as it came with the car! Hopefully it sorts your issues TDC Sensor: 8200647554 Loom: 8200673202 Shade under £100 for both from RPD...

Check sills and arches as well. Tinkering and maintenance is fine but additional thousands in cutting, welding and painting might kill the fun. At least that's what I was looking out for when I got ahold of mine
