Checked the coilover all looks fine .

Basically took my coilovers out today to check the top mounts basically the top mount had no resistance it was very sloppy . Also the bearing was dry and had little flat spots all around. I just want to know should the top mount be pretty stiff . Umm like when you have a broken track rod end...

Bump . How hard are these mounts to fit without brace

Basically i have knocking noise coming from my 172 but its only there somtimes. Like it hasnt been knocking for 4 days but now its knocking again. Knocks alot harder when goin over bumps. Also im getting a judder when pulling off. Am i right in thinking its the engine mounts ?

Bump!!!! Basically this knocking is still there but for some reason its not been knocking for about 4 days but suddenly its come back. But now it sounds harsher than normal. Can anyone help

I have gaz cooilovers they wer fitted to My car when i bought it. Id like to adjust the damping a little sOfter but i do not know which way to turn the adjusters ? Isit left for softer or right for harder etc ? Anyone know ? Cheers

Hey guys ive done sOme mOre research and thw hydraulic lifter came up a few times . How can i see if mine are okay. I know they would tapp. But if my dephaser is broken how can i tell the diffrence ?

I payed 170 for dephaser .

It would tap like diesel mate.

Hi guys thanka for the feedback. I have found a guy that will do it for 650 all In . Hes a master tech at renault so he knows his stuff. Hes changing Timing belt + tensioners Aux belt Dephaser pulley Waterpump Antifreeze The lot . Anyone needs it done let me Know as hes always available. Cheers

Ive been quoted 650 by a guy whos local to me he worka as a master tech at renault wer i live. Hes also done the lot on his 182 . So goin to him next week . Dephaser pulley Timing belt and tensioners Waterpump Aux belt

Cheers for the help guys had a look tOday the actuall washer jet has cracked. So for now Ive just blocked the pipe . Intil i get a new jet for the stealer

Filled up my windscreen washer bottle to the brim and basically i got out my car a noticed a very large puddle of washer fluid on the floor on the passenger side just under the bumper i belive the xenon washer is at fault . Could it be a broken pipe? Or somthing .
