I do not understand why people want to make their lights darker?

Nooooooooo other way around ;)
Start with lower grits, but be gentle with them. If the scratches you make are too deep, they'll come through in the paint.
Work your way up to higher grits like 1200 wet and dry, then 1500 wet and dry.
Pfffft don't pretend you don't like my messing with cars ;)
Maybe I've just been running 5.1 fluid for too long, and forgotten how easily standard brake fluid boils :S
Admiral seem to be flavour of the week at the moment. Everyone that I know is with them, and no other insurance company seems willing to offer the prices that they do, to young drivers.
Mr Fast Car off here offered some overfenders up to his car, but they just looked wrong. Exactly the same car, a ph1 172.
