You’ve got 2 choices:
Machine 2 half moons 180 degrees apart in the crownwheel.
Or
Heat the crownwheel up and drop it on the diff. Couple of 1 inch long welds to keep it secure - job done.

The scoring is pretty normal tbh, but anything you can feel with your finger nail is fucked basically.
If that is damage to the cam lobe itself, somethings damaged the case hardening of the cam lobe itself. Only way to fix it properly is to replace it mate, and it’s only going to get worse, not...
It’s difficult to say mate. The ratios also won’t suit a boost motor, but I am wanting to have it setup to work with a oe final drive should people wish.
3rd/4th synchro are the same as the synchros for 5th and 6th. But, as they’re made of brass they will fail if you use them on 3rd/4th.
You have to use the ones specifically for 3rd/4th on those gears.
Here’s part of the Jc5 dog box kit. You can clearly see the dog engagement teeth here. There’s a lot of work needed though still. I'm wanting to do away with the brass selector forks as well, so this all needs to be added into a redesign.
