Please let's stick with fact and not opinion, the interior is very good in the clio, apart from the recaros (which is not for me as I have leather in mine) id say the clio edges it (again opinion)
It was always going to be a controversial car no getting round it. From an owners perspective I love the car, but it is a step in a different direction from Renault, obviously this forum is predominately 182 owners which couldn't really be further away from the new car. As I've said before...
You won't be going any slower don't worry lol. It's plenty fast enough in the corners, I think it's just me! It's probably just because it doesn't feel like your going as fast (obviously not a screaming NA)
Neither is mine, maybe once or twice a year if that. I just find after coming right out of a 197 that this car isn't quite as sharp in the bends, to be honest, I've been thinking about it more recently, I find myself just all round going much faster in this car, the power is much easier to...
Welcome to the crew.
Love mine, mine isn't cup packed, I also test drove a cup packed one and couldn't notice much difference between that and mine, however will be putting coilovers on mine (it's a very capable car but the handling could be improved).
One bad thing about not having the cup...
Nothing major, had my calipers sprayed red, fitted wind deflectors...
Shall be fitting bilstein b14s soon though. I have a clunk coming from o/s front which renault are sorting before I fit them (or they will just blame the coilovers).
In the future I'll be fitting an exhaust system to it...
Sunroof is a decent option to have and not very common on them!
On the picture they have cut out the picture just above the lower bolster, which could suggest there is some wear there, but unworn recaros are becoming rarer day by day lol.
Also they've said they are black wheels when they're...
@-speedfreak-
Have you got them set on private or anything like that? Had some guys on 197.net struggle to open the album. Also I can't grab the link from them (you know the little arrow thing on the bottom right and you can get the direct link to individual images)
You might see me occasionally in a LY 200t, my grandad has just bought a static caravan in Wortwell. I went up yesterday and saw an AB 197 just outside of Harleston.
Well thats the beauty of plastidip isn't it, dont like it just peel it off! It will probably look better not photoshopped to be fair, real will be better.
Not a fan of the diffuser that colour, if you're going to do it then its going to have to be everything, so the badges, cup spoiler end plates etc and so on.
Do like the car though, 197s in LY look great.
W**k over them lol?
The problem is with new flexi's is that they can go also. The standard manifold can also go on the flanges at the top that go into the block. This manifold is better on most cars, just some have fitment issues with them.
Heres mine, didnt actually take as long as I was expecting:

For £50 difference wouldn't even be a contemplation for me. H&r and Eibach have been fitted to loads of 197/200s with no issues reported, that's what I'd be doing.
Love mine.
Day to day in auto is lovely, particularly going to work at 5am for me, however put it in race and paddleshift it's great fun in the bends, will blip past anything when you need to overtake and the turbo just kicks you out of bends much easier. Ignore all these reviews about a weak...
