Attempted to fit my exhaust I bought last night but I couldn't remove the nuts that hold the centre section of my standard exhaust to the cat.
Managed to loosen one of the nuts but the the whole thing just spins, both ends are rounded and it's near impossible to get them off with the limited...

Just been in a bidding war for these and someone has paid £26 + postage for them. You can get them cheaper from Renault can't you?
Something rather strange happened when I fitted this yesterday. At 1st my car became all jerky and sluggish and the viper wasn't giving off it's usuall roar. This persisted for quite abit until I gave the car a good blast, after that the acceleration sharpened up and I was getting the induction...
No this isn't another thread asking "What MPG do you get from your clio" Lol.
Had a run down to Derby today to pick up a Viper from Joe (Pepsi) and to my surprise I had 55MPG showing at one point, granted I drove like an O.A.P on the way there but I drove more spiritedly home and still managed...
The one's known as the strut top washer fix, where can I get a pair of these?
Ordered some from Yozzasport but I haven't heard anything from them.
Is there anywhere else that sell them?
With being sunny and dry I decided to get some yellow Hammerite and paint my front calipers. Could do with another coat but I was running out of light plus I was starting to get really bored.
You'll have to forgive the picture quality as they're only quick snaps with a crappy camera phone and...
Fitted my Eibachs on Monday and they've evened out the gaps between my wheels and wheel arches nicely. Only thing is, the offside rear is roughly 20mm lower than the rest of the car.
Pretty sure it'll be down to the rear shock on that side but I just wanted to get confirmation before I waste...

Are these as good as the asking price suggests?

Guys selling quite a few Clio Sports parts.
Planning on changing my rotting standard exhaust in the near future, but I can't decide which one. Ktec's Supersports stealth or the Yozzasport race system.
I heard Liquid Forces Yozzasport system on his 182 the other night and it sounded immense but the 172 version I don't like the how the...
I've removed the nearside shocker because I'd noticed the rubber was on upside down (not sure what to call it). Dismantled the shocker then reassembled it, when I came to put it back on the car I couldn't get the bottom of the shocker to match the two holes at the back of the hub.
The shocker...
Well I think it was a cup, only got a very brief look at it from behind, had one tailpipe sticking out of it. Was on my way home from work around 12.30pm on the dual carriage-way that runs you on to Liverpool Road, you was going the opposite way.
Well I'm putting it down to being over-tightened. The bolt that attaches your shocker to the rear hub. Managed to loosen the offside bolt by soaking it in WD40 but the nearside bolt just won't budge.
I'm expecting the usual "man up" comments but does anyone have any ideas on how to loosen it...
I started a thread about how the rear end of my car and how it sits lower than the front, alot of suggestions were that the rear springs had sagged, changed them today but the car still sits in the same position.
Any other suggestions? Rear shocks are fine by the way. I might just go with my...
Every time I press the switch to move my drivers side window up the right indicator flashes. Not really a major issue but it's f**king annoying.
Anyone else had this problem? Don't recall anyone else complaining about it.
Well I think it was flame red it was dark and couldn't tell properly, came past me whilst heading towards Kelloggs in Trafford Park. Overtook me and a red saxo.
The previous owner had this size tyre fitted, can't think off hand what brand they are, they're dutch and I've never come across them before.
My question is could this size cause poor handling? It's not so much an issue at low speed corners but high speed ones, feels unstable and tramlines an...
The service light and the airbag light randomly light up for no reason I can see why. The car was serviced last Friday so it doesn't need servicing.
Any advice would be helpful.
Cheers!
The previous owner had a heavy sound system in the boot so with the weight it's pushed the rear shockers down and caused the back end of the car to sit lower than the front. Just wondering is there any way to raise the shockers back up to normal height or is it just a case of replacing them?
Picked it up today after traveling up to Leeds, There's a couple of marks on various places on the body work but only very minor things and near side alloy has been curbed and could do with a refurb, baring that the car's in good condition.
Couple of photos that were from the advert, not had...
Anyone on here previously own this 172 Cup or know any history of it? I'm sure I've seen this reg in the spotted section on this forum before. Going to look at it tomorrow.
Hello!
Well I'm kind of new, I was using this site about 3 years ago when I had a Clio 172Cup, but I had to sell up due to financial circumstances.
All being well I'll be buying another 172Cup come end of Jan or beginning of Feb and I'll be signing up for the full membership again once I've...
