Was Billy No Mates this morning when I popped along to this. Got told by one of the stewards to park in the public car park as I had a roof lol. Some interesting cars there and everything convertible was parking all round the track. Some great classics, rarities and supercars.
Had to sneak a...
Almost forgot about this. Who's up for an Organic bacon Bap?
The theme is Soft Tops so anything convertible. Must get the Tin opener out.

Got dragged along to this last night and spotted a few Clios in attendance. At least I didn't see you doing burn outs or doughnuts. It was banging and wicked and made me feel like I stepped back to a Max Power Cruise night of the 90s. Funniest part was a black Octavia turning up just as a Beemer...
Went along to the monthly Brooklands Classic Breakfast. Met up with a few members of V6.net and had a great breakfast and strolling around looking at cars is never boring.

Forgive me for being self indulgent and hogging a thread to myself. Like everyone else did not take a load of pics as too busy chatting to folks. Was better than last year and can't wait for CSS 13. Really did miss not having a Clio anymore and made me want to go out and get another one...

For my annual Father's Day treat my son treated me to entry to the above show. It was great driving in with him in the Beetle and me in my Elf. Attendance was down on previous years but there were still some amazing cars there. This year also hosted a Custom Bike show which proved that this...
For those of you interested in attending Simply French at Beaulieu just a few pics of the exhibits. If you are a Bond nut the new Bond experience will be amazing for you. Top Gear is always good but requires queuing and there is always the House and Monastery.

Today I have been mostly in a field of Minis. Having got the Elf through it's MOT it was great to spend four hours cleaning and polishing it only for it to p**s down all day. Never mind it did stop at lunch time for a couple of hours so I was able to take a few pics.
Yes that is a...
Finally springs & shocks are on. Went for a lap of the Fletch ring to bed them in. What a giggle. The ride is planted, much more comfortable than standard and gone is the understeer around roundabouts, although the tyres were screaming in protest. Had a great laugh and stopped for some pics.
Went along to this today with the usual suspects. Was great to chat and glad the rain held off.

Was a bit wet and cold but still an amazing turn out with Supercars parked all over the place and general public cars parked anywhere. Never mind it was a good morning but didn't take too many pics.

Following on from my picking up my new wheels earlier this week my son and I have been a little bit busy making it look a little bit different.
This was how it looked on Wednesday evening:

Stubby Carbon Fibre Aerial:
Day 2
The obligatory...
Finally picked up the R27 replacement today. after a 3 week wait thanks to the DVLA. For those who saw my thread in Clio discussion this has not been an easy process for me and is driven by economics. This ended up as a swap and some money my way, so feel that I've not been screwed by a dealer...
A sad day has happened in my life in that I am getting rid of my beloved R27. Those people who know me are aware that this was my second Clio after my Titanium 182. Cold facts of life have had to hit home and I cannot justify keeping the R27 and the expense that it is due to incur. Also due to...
If anyone can remember the monstrosities created by Stephen Ireland then look away now.
Whilst at Goodwood today this turned up . We thought that it was Tim (Atouba)'s new ride but then thought it may have belonged to a member of the CS Admin Team.
Enough of this I'll let you all decide...
Chris and I braved the -7C weather to freeze our arses off to bring you pics of this event today.
My car of the day - It was immaculate!!
The Riley Elf was a real treat for me

As our esteemed Area Rep is too busy to organise a meet, feel it's time to start a thread for a Meet as we've not met for so long. So the above time and place okay for everyone.

Goodwood have announced the details for this year's Breakfast Clubs. Slim pickings for us Clio owners and no chance of getting on the Pit straight then. Can see me taking the Elf to a few though.
Tax-Free Sunday
Sunday 4th March 2012 : Pre-1973 tax-free classics, plus modern eco-friendly...
As usual was a great turn out for the final Sunday Service for 2011 and a great excuse for a mini Cliosport meet. The number of exotics was well worth braving the Arctic conditions for.
A Ferrari in its natural state?
Car of the show?

It was a bloody cold morning and the hardy few gathered at Chichester Tescos for the final Sunday service of the year. Shame that the quality of the bacon roll did not match the price. Was great to catch up and enjoyed the slippy drive.
Nice to see Matt back in a Clio. what happened on the way...
Anyone interested in this? It says its 4 Wheel drive but also mentions the Dream Grid as voted for by Breakfast Club attendees.

Thought that I would give the sunshine bus a clean and a blast in the New Forest. Damn those 40 mph limits, horses and cattle spoiling some great twisty roads.
Comments welcome.
