Happier with my lines this time round, no where near perfect but better than last time :lol also a lot less ham fisted!
Bit annoyed I was...
Had a quick session in the morning, was going pretty well - wasnt flat out as this was my first outing on track in the elise, and experienced a bit of a moment coming out of Quarray lol
Please forgive my handfisted driving, iv not been on track in 7 months and need to be a lot smoother!
Was...
This was what we found at work the other day, the Mk5 Golf TDi had been into a 'tuning company' who fitted this mod, telling the owner it would give better performance by stopping the boost hose expanding
Thats right, a rolled up piece of metal, with 2 dubilee clips on the outside holding...
After the Clio, I wanted something that was more of a toy and I couldnt think of anything better than an Elise.
At this point I have to say a BIG thanks to Rob (Englebert) for the help and info and Justin for the info on his ownership experience!
So after some searching, I found this one...
Well after 4 years, the Clio has finally been driven off into the dinstance :(
Good news is a member has bought it, and it will be living on in one guise or another ;)
Though il be sticking around, wont be long before I have another Clio.....
New project revealed this weekend.
Good cheap run around, front bumpers a little tatty, but interior is good, and engine and box is spot on. Iv been down to Devon in it and it was comfortable and did over 40 mpg

This is what my itb's have given me :D
Got back on the rollers iv been on quite a lot, and the results came back at:
209 bhp @ 7,028 rpm
165 lb ft torque @ 6,229 rpm
Ignoring the 209bhp,take notice that with only a cat back exhaust the Clio has made a consistant 171-173bhp and...
I see a lot of posts in threads asking what increase do itb's give.
So I thought id show this, and hopefully give an idea of what they actually do.
While they might not give a massive increase in bhp/torque at peak, the way they change the power delivery is like night and day:
The...
After a lot of searching on here, I cant find anything other than suggestions of a custom rad.
Now this can cost a fair bit, so is there anything else anyone knows of that I can use?
I did hear there was a Polo rad available, anyone know from what year/model? As I can see what prices I could...
Things to know:
Full interior, not even back seats out
Half a tank of fuel
136,500 miles
Home made itb conversion
Running standard ECU (which is crap according to some people...)
23 degree heat.
;)
Going on the times I set in my old Hybrid, if I strip the...

This is the van Iv recently bought from young Daniel, and will be my works van for my business.
No one knows where Ubervan came from, legend has it it used to be the A Team van, then moved onto some community service as an ambulance, but that is just hear say.
Here is Ubervan as it...
:D:D:D:D:D
I know its only a bit of fun and not dead accurate, but the average time I got when it was standard was 6.7 secs, so it shows the ITB's have knocked a second off my 0-60 time :)
I remember seeing some of these advertised, where the pedal is wider on the left, so its closer to the brake pedal, anyone know where i can get one from?
Best 0-60 time with the car fairly standard was 6.58, with an average of 6.8 in the dry.
I only had time for 2 runs, and it was wet too so I was very chuffed with:
Suffice to say getting that quick a time in the wet, im confident il be in the 5's with a decent launch...
As per our phone call, on your recommendation :o

And after:
Gotta love a Yozza :D
Seriously, I know iv always heard that a Yozza is the best to get, but I honestly didnt realise how good these are, it took me literally 2 mins to fit, no...
First one is a '10' plate Blue 200, parked in Greenbridge car park, looked fantastic but had a curbed spoke on one alloy :( lol
2nd spot is a 172 cup, blue, white wheels, parked opposite B and Q just after the train bridge
Thought id put the link up here, as I know a few people have been talking about them lol.
This ones really nice, its just taken me to Southampton, and Centre Parcs fully loaded and still is averaging over 50 mpg.
