@Tony Hunter - mate that race was fantastic!! Only just got around to watching it, but wow!
On another note, I read what you're saying about the Ph1 but im not listening :( :( :(
Good good - I can supply Powerflex products (including the black series) and I do 12% discount on powerflex for cliosport members - I can also supply vibratechnics engine and gearbox mounts @ 5% off RRP www.sw-autos.uk
The cage will make it stiffer - but be aware it will transfer the stresses to other parts of the car - so you will need everything upgraded - bushes, top mounts - the lot
Hey guys just a quickie - I now have Valeo clutches live on the shop :) See my traders section for CS discount :)
I have also been busy uploading more parts to the shop, more going up regularly too :)
It is a tough one.
I have probably had about 8 stripped ones, and 22 ones with interior still in.
Stripping my Williams engined 16v mk1 took my 1/4 mile time from 14.2/14.3 @96mph to 14.0 @100mph all day long, so to gain that amount over 1/4 mile is actually quite tough.
So yes, it makes a...
Slowly but surely.
It will be worlds apart from the Type R Andy - you wont know what hit you!
Oh by the way, I have decided once its done, im coming to stay with you for a weekend so you can show me the roads you keep banging on about ;)
Thanks matey!
If you are wanting to space out to the width of a 172, I'd imagine you will need longer wheel bolts - im not 100% as ive never had to do it on a non-sport but someone will be along shortly who will be able to help :)
I can supply Eibach, so no issues there - drop me a PM with...
I have an idea about Llandow - I will keep you posted @Cub. x
I should be able to pop over then! - keep me updated on dates etc dude! I know Combe like the back of my hand so if you need any pointers let me know x
Fully agree, even at the start this has been one of my favourite cars - I need a trip out with you at some point! Never got the chance at the last Llandow day - we need another!
Legend! thank you - I understand the Cups have the stiffer rear shockers and I'd hate to think I had the number wrong and was supplying softer shockers than customers were expecting!
I'm confident I would be able to sell these for about £40
Yes, 172 cup shocks (As far as I am aware) fit all Clio 172 and 182s excluding the 182 cup and cup packed cars and the Trophy.
Does anyone have a part number for rear shockers for 172 Cups? I am trying to see what I can sell them for.
I can also get Koni if it helps mate, I can usually only do...
I did have some KW V2 coilovers on a Ph1 Exclusive I had years ago and being honest it was really comfortable - stiffer than standard but if kept at a sensible setting they were comfortable and improved handling. But then again they were £1100 so you would expect it lol
Thanks @cpaterson76 ! For reference guys, from me currently Eibachs are taking about 3 days from order to delivery - the longest so far has been about 5 days
Glad to hear you seem to be getting things sorted at least mate!
@Darren S yup mate ive just started selling genuine Renault parts :D I have a few on the website now, all will be well under RRP! I only have a few uploaded so far but have a look, so you can get an idea on the discounts I can do :) www.sw-autos.uk
I am just waiting on a price on 172 cup dampers...
Sorry guys only just had chance to fire up the laptop!
@mad in general - Yes mate, delivery address I have put the business address as the delivery address - thank you very much!
@Darren S - £173 including delivery dude :smile...
After 3 weeks of non stop work I can finally say I have started making genuine Renault parts live on the shop :)
I have decided to make these as cheap as I can, so no discount codes needed.
So ideas on savings:
172/182 aux belt kits - £58.10 (£18 saving)
172/182 coil pack - £65 (£15 saving)...
The tighten up the rear end a bit basically. I have done about 30k of road/track driving with a rear ARB on Clio's and I personally like it - it tends to make the front a little pointier - I like it
