I had a very similar problem when I first got my clio . it had a sports cat and 2 rear boxes with no middle box.. it seems I went the total wrong way with it .. I got a new middle section with silencer and fitted it which made zero difference.. I then cut open the back boxes and re packed them...

just one mate the dipped beam hid or what ever they are called.. its only slightly but still noticeable enough.. im betting they are going to be bloody expensive knowing my luck... I don't want the blue look ones that some go for though.... cheers jay

you could heat a tiny pin up with a lighter and pop it through the lens at the lowest level of the water so it runs out . then any further water in their will run straight out.. bit of a bodge but you wont even be able to see it.. i did it to a mates van at work for him and its never had water...

Where are you counting the cylinders from as I made this mistake thinking number 1 was drivers side but I'm told its the gearbox end number 1. So I changed 3 instead of 2 and couldn't work out why it wouldn't work. Worth a mention

thanks for the help on this.. recharged it and found the leak where a pipe goes into the side of the aircon rad so drained it back out and will whip the bumper off to get to it when i get a chance.. hopefully just a rubber seal gone.. thanks again

I just got brand new coilpack / leads and plugs from Renault to solve a misfire problem that turned out to be an injector fault. Bit gutted but at least it's all new now

Ok thanks for the help lucky I asked as was going for magnacor. Do ktec sell genuine stuff only my nearest Renault is 30 odd miles away so I'd rather order from somewhere that will post the correct stuff out first time. Or anyone else that are recomended. Thanks
