It's hard to describe as it is suttle but thinking about it id say more of a whistle than whine cambelt kit and aux belt fitted at 62k (now at 72k) Easiest way to test for leak from inlet?

Sounds like really suttle whistling like I say i can only hear it when I touch the throttle as little as possible more in 3rd 4th and 5th as soon as I put my foot down anymore it goes?

Ok so here it is, I bought my cup about a month ago, it's had the Cambelt done fairly recently but it didn't have the dephaser done at the same time (which I knew) the car was in such good nick I had to get it, anyway when I push the tiniest bit on the throttle there's a annoying whining sound...

hi, just a few questions sorry if its been covered already. 1. with the rs tuner I take it you have to map it yourself through your laptop? 2. is the 98ron map make it more pokey through lower revs? 3. do you have to use super unleaded when you have it mapped? thanks

When I leave my car on a slight hill for a while it feels like when I try to pull away the back of the car gets stuck for a second then makes a bang and loosens up and is free has anyone had this problem just want to know what to look out for thanks

hi mate I would advise upgrading your dogbone mount, evol on here do a good one look in the traders section. also whining noise sounds like dephaser?

Hi Martin thanks for the reply, had a quick look today but couldn't seem to find where to fill the gearbox oil ( it was cold and I didn't look for long ) just wondering is it a big deal to worry about? And is it worth trying to get hold of a repair kit or do it properly and fit a new one, sorry...
