I quite like the autoglym interior stuff, smells nice and doesn't leave any marks. Couple of sprays on a microfiber and wipe it around.

Just a pack of Amazon wet sanding discs with velcro on, did it by hand though. Then ultimate compound on the 3m headlight polishing disc as a white hex logic didn't touch it (with da).

Went through the whole process again and polished. Still swirly and polishing isn't getting it all out so might need to revisit. Miles better though!

Headlights... worked my way up the grades - 500, 1000, 2000, 3000. Can't decide if they're ready to polish or if they need more sanding as there are some patchy bits still.

Definitely not! What purpose do you need it for? Different ones for drying, buffing, wiping, glass... The Rag Company and Klin Korea are both popular in the towel world for example

Polishing... Doing the drivers door today and found the rear half of the door comes out nice and clear, the front half is still a tad hazy. I've used yellow hex with ultimate compound, 6 - 8 passes. Then Menzerna sf3500 on a green hex pad for another 6-8 passes. I am pretty sure the cars had...

I'm using menzerna power lock at the moment, stupidly easy to use and wax can be put on top which means it'll last even longer.

What's the smallest that would work on a da? I thought the oscillating would mean a 1 or 2 inch pad would be pointless. I think taping might be quickest at this stage, didn't even think of it tbh. Cheers!

Anyone got any tips for polishing the really thin bits of roof? Smallest pads I have currently are 4" and I'm not planning on buying a I-brid just to do those bits. Gradually working my way down the car at the moment.

How can I keep the exhaust shiny? Just wiped over the back box with a hot soapy microfiber and was surprised to see it come up so well. But how can I keep it that way? I am half assuming it's impossible though

    Another Impact Wrench question...

It really does. Batteries are expensive so the idea you can use one battery across the range makes it great. Nearly got their impact wrench on black Friday as it was ~£100 for it + a battery.

    Another Impact Wrench question...

Thanks for the replies. I was really just looking to use up my voucher but if the consensus is that it isn't worth having that cheap corded one, then I won't. I'd probably use it a couple of times per month so I don't really need £250+ either. I'll look forward to getting one of those big beasts...
