How much free hard disk space do you have? You can check the event logs to see what is being displayed. Most errors end up there.

Thanks for that! I'm using 24mm f4 on a 5DMkII (24-105 lens). I resorted to the H2 ISO, which isn't pretty RAW. I did some reading last night and came across the 500 rule. Hopefully I can try again tonight if we have clear skies.

I need some tips for star shots. (@Aaron.. ?). I tried a couple last night but got blurred stars on exposures longer than 1 minute as the planet is turning. I resorted to massively high ISO and f4 with a 15 second exposure. There must be a better way?
