Cheers bud! I do try to keep it clean.
Some new plans on the horizon as been offered a Meg 250 turbo cheap so hoping to reach the magical 300/300 figures
So the weekend has passed which means only one thing..........
MORE PARTS FOR THE MEGANE!!!!!! :tongueclosed:
Todays goodies are as follows...
Powerflex engine and gearbox kit
Silver Project adjustable top mounts
And some nice new decals for the rear quarter windows as the old ones had...
So another week passes and I'm still spending money on the megane. :yum:
Bought a quickshift and a new style rear badge.
Can't wait to fit the quickshift as the current throw between gear changes is massive and can be compared to slinging my tiny gentleman's sausage up Katie Price's p**s flaps!
Thank you for the kind words chaps.
After a spirited drive this morning,I'm so happy I fitted them. The extra grip/support they offer is fantastic only downside is the faff of getting in and out and trying to avoid squashing the bolsters 😂
So a bit of an update on the new thrones
First thing was to unbolt the rails from the new seats
Then try them in the Megane to see if they would fit (of course they didn't,that would have been too easy  )
So next thing was to attack them with the power tools! :smilingimp...
Really suprised Renault didn't offer them as an option in the R26 alongside the treadlines.
They are standard fitment in quite a few cars, sadly all are rather expensive to buy!
Not much has happened with the megane recently.Just been using it and enjoying it really.
Only mod is a set of new number plates as I wanted the 'RS' and '07' spaced out
Also after a 6 hour round trip this morning I have some Recaro Sportster CS seats from a Clio R27 to fit!
Never seen a...
Well just had the car back after leaving it with Sean @Foatauto in Cardiff for some work.
Sean is an Ex Renault Mastertech whom has gone on his own and has had very good reviews so though i'd use him for his services. He fitted my TTV Lightened flywheel and R26.R clutch, supplied and fitted an...
Just want to give a recommendation to Sean @Foatauto
He's recently fitted the TTV flywheel/R26.R clutch, supplied and fitted a cambelt/waterpump/aux belt kit, new CV boots and re-gassing the air con all in a day and a half and at an awesome price!
So not much has happened in the last few weeks except driving and just enjoying it.
Something I've never been a fan of is the ride height so I've purchased some Cooksport lowering springs which kinda escalated into all new Genuine Renault suspension parts to go with the springs
