Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He
Great thread James, and no I haven't read it all, I'm not mad;)
Love the car, was good to have a nosey at it yesterday. Reading through some bits and watching the Anglesey video really makes me want to get...
Just these

Jacked it up, fitted the rear goodridge brake lines, new rear cup shocks and rear eibach pros
Moved to the front, tried the bleed nipple on the o/s caliper and it sheared off. Also the bump stops had perished on the front shocks so didn't bother changing anything.
As a result it's a funny...
This was the reason why I was edging towards the AD08s until this thread came back up. Think it has confirmed that I'll be having the Yokos and when it becomes my track only car then I'll worry over the track tyres - possibly A048Rs...
I read somewhere that they are fine if you heat them up and cool them down in a specific way. Sadly I can't find where I saw it, nor can I remember if it even told you the best way how.
Anyone else read similar?
Who did you speak to? Adam is the guy to have a chat to there. I got 172 cup shocks all round for just £140. Just had to pick them up instead of getting them delivered. Hopefully they'll be a bit firmer than the standard ones on the phase 1 at the minute
I'll have this dilemma as soon as I burn through the Hankooks on it, hopefully a couple of trackdays will do that. I was edging towards the AD08s, but after this I'm unsure again. Post up your findings

Is this the right stuff?
Just sorting out some fresh brakes for the track car before getting it out, hopefully at Cadwell next month, and giving them a full overhaul. Now looking for brake lines, some are stainless steel fittings other have zinc. What's the difference?
Fluid - DOT 4 or RBF 600?
Being fit alongside HC...
Think Larkspeed are pretty cheap. Though if you want HC disks too K-tec are doing a package with money off at the minute. Just waiting until payday to get them for mine
I've been looking at 3s, albeit in 15s, and I've only seen them in 15'' and 17''. Even direct they don't give a 16'' size

Re: What is your favourite RS model?
1. V6 Ph2 in Lunar or Illiad
2. R26.r in Lunar or RB
3. Clio Trophy
4. Ph1 172 in titanium
5. RB 182, colour really suits
Just bought my cup shocks and Eibach pros, and someone has mentioned camber bolts to me. Are they any good? One set of Eibach ones I've found can run up to 1.75 neg camber. Will that knacker my tyres? Will they be a nightmare day to day? (car is a daily at the minute)
Also just front? Or rear...
