Ast coilovers, -3 degree camber, 6 degrees castor, pms arb, caged, relocated battery, poly Windows, still road legal, just  The more track days I do the more I learn to preserve the tyres, getting as much weight as possible off the nose helped too, I've just fitted epas this weekend so a...
My 888s have done 4 track days with life left in them! The Nankangs are really hard wearing, in fact here's a pic after the track day....not sure about ar1 on 16s tbh
They don't sell 120s in the uk anymore, you may be lucky and find old stock, 180s are decent but after one track day I changed mine for 888s which are sooooo much better IMO, certainly showed in my lap times! I've just ordered 2 X Nankang AR1 to try, they replace the 120 and are even softer
I've a combination of camber bolts and Ast top mounts but have seen others with slots in the struts, mine started off at -2 and feels much better on track with the extra degree :)
What tyres and what pressures Andy? I run -3 degrees on the front just fyi. I used to get serious wear when I used RSRs on the front, changed to 888s and they wear much more evenly, still wear the shoulder, but to a lesser degree on my front left (clockwise circuit) after 4-5 track daysI keep my...
Decent cam but I'd buy a used 3+ black with remote for that money (I did and previously had a hero), the difference in quality, especially in low light is staggering. They're all pretty good for sound IMO, you can plug in a cheap external mic, I've not needed to.
The lcd is really isn't needed...
No Dan, not tried pagids yet. I got mine from George :) I ran it up the motorway and gave the brakes a good roasting from 70-80 to as near a dead stop as I could get away with at least half a dozen times, then drove it home and left t get cold, epic ever since :) On brembo Hc discs
RC6 shouldn't be in the same sentence as DS1.11 imo! Good stopping power but a huge amount of dust and shocking lifespan. Mine crumbled to bits in two track days, my 1.11s have now done five and can take all the abuse I can throw at them
Made a start on fitting the epas this evening,
Strip down
Column gone
Really enjoyed getting the motor back on and tightened :rage:
Ecu earthed here
More when I've time, hopefully get a couple of hours free tomorrow
@Gsi2000 it was never going to be good news really  You buy the RB yet lol
I'll be able to bore everyone with my PoV vids from now on :tongueout: Gonzo track vids
don't let the dealer do it! There's usually a chain stretch warning that comes up on the dash, new kit is ~ £400, new one is thicker so they knew there was an issue
Decided to run my cam stuck to the side of my helmet (!) yesterday for the 1st session to see how it looked, forgot to turn it on until half way round the 2nd lap lol I think I'll use this more in the future, bit more of a sensation of speed than the cage mount, might make some heads spin...
RC6 are horrible imo, great stopping power but crumbled to bits after two track days, made a real mess of my wheels too 😧
My DS1.11 have done five track days with plenty left on them. I'll not have CL again.
