Gave the clio a clean today, looks as if the zymol wax is keeping a nice deep glossy shine
Some may have seen when I had the timing done that I gave the sachs dampers a quick clean over, well I decided the full arch should be done, especially with the bad weather right around the corner, I felt...
Gave the trophy a wax during the week and a wash at the weekend
Theres also some other work been done to the trophy, I had a feeling the timing was out so I had my mate from renault come over and get it sorted out, I took the oportunity to gave the sachs a clean and the insides of...
I'm having a strange problem with my trophy.
Basically its just had the timing set (properly) and I've just booted the car for the first time
It feels above 5k rpm the car doesnt want to rev as free as it should, it does this all the way to 6800rpm, then it gets a little burst of power just...
My mate has just bought this and was wondering if its someone's old car off here as the clio badge has been removed at the rear
Looks in good condition anyway and I will be telling him to join up
Is there anything planned like this again this year?
Think it was around november time last year and think it would be great if Karl could get something arranged
Has anyone ever done this in a 172/182?
I've got a trophy and I'm hoping I can use the original frames just change the seats over as I sat in a mates R27 last night and they're so much more supportive
Ok guys, after being around on here a while I've picked up a couple of things, but as a previous 172 owner I'm not so clue'd up on 182's
As I'm aware there are little to zero gains to be had from a 182 exhaust, if there is what is the best system, a lot say yozza but I had a BTB on my 172 and...
Well after 4 months of german ownership I'm back with a clio, this time a trophy
Bit of history about it, No.007, first car sold to a customer, first 6 were press cars, got 3 previous owners and the last only had it for 4 months but was too hard to use for day to day use.
So, I got the car...
Anybody going to trax this sunday? I'm going to drive down on the day as I CBA with hotels etc, done it so many times before and would rather save £50
If anyone is going down or fancies it on the day I will be leaving the NE at around 4.30 am and having a steady cruise down at around 70mph...
Just got myself a clio trophy and noticed it has a slight flat spot between 3500-4500RPM
It has an ITG panel filter so I assume some torque could be lost due to this but its been a while since I've had a revy N/A so I've forgotten what to expect
We popped out yesterday for a few pics of the trophy, A couple of my mini sneaking in aswell ;)
I'm now contemplating selling the mini, buying a trophy and dropping it at RS tuning for a supercharger ;)
After the clio lost compression on the bottom end I decided I'd had enough of older cars that just seem to enjoy breaking and got myself a Mini Cooper S
Heres a few pics of the old car for those who remember me:
Always fancied one, knew it wouldnt be the fastest thing in the world as...
This car belongs to JAM1991 on here
It was done about 2 weeks ago but not had much time to write it up
Anyway car was pretty bad, i know james said his dad works near a steel mill or something so maybe because of that but we did our best on it and got probablies about an 80% correction on the...
This car belongs to Bark on the forum
We've been planning on getting this car in for correction since last winter, now the weather has improved significantly up this region we decided it was time to get her in for a spruce up!
Car wasnt really that bad and tbh couldnt really get any decent...
This car belongs to tonaz on the forum, it was done about a month ago but been busy with other details so this is the first chance to get it up here
The following was done:
Rinse
Snow Foamed
Rinsed
Washed with microfibre mitt
Shuts cleaned
Clayed with dodo supernatural and last touch as a...
Cba to search for the other thread so....is anybody down there tonight?
I'll most likely be in a burgandy 04 plate laguna *pimpin yo* so keep an eye out
Pretty sure it was boosted, had twin rear zausts but no cut outs for them in the bumper, silver turini's and seemed to go well up the strip
who was it and what were your times
Im arranging this on a few of the 106/saxo forums so thought would be good to get the clio boys along for a bit of banter

Got my BTB stealth fitted yesterday and finally got time to give the car a good clean,
I clay-barred all of the car including the windows, and finished off with some white diamond show glaze
Loving the new btb, not too loud or quiet, still yet to see any performance gains but the fitment isnt...
Saw this in the middle of newcastle city centre, looked like it had drove into the side of a taxi :( was going to offer to buy the cup spoiler if it was badly bumped :dapprove:
Just thought id pop a few pics up before its fitted tomoz
I first contacted btb last week about the system, there wasnt any in stock but they were in the process of making another batch :D
So I arranged to buy a system and called them up on monday, gave my card details and my delivery details...
May be a strange question but someone may know, what kind of plastic is used on the 172/182 rear bumpers as I need to get some plastic welding done on mine and need to use the right type or plastic or it wont work
Cheers
A few of the ph1 followers will know I sold the 172 just before new year, and after owning two 106 rallye 16v's ive returned back to the clio
since selling it to my mate who's a renault mechanic, its had the belt done, two new tyres, a new front spring and the heater disply bulbs changed...
As some of you know Ive bought my old 172 back, to see how it was previously and what I did take a look here
http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=416783
Ive decided I want to keep it usable everyday, so I will be keeping the rear seats
Im off out to grab a few pics of it now, then...
Well after messing around with a few 106 rallye's ive decided to purchase my old 172 back, I miss its little touches etc, its since had two new tyres, cambelt and aux belt changed and a few bulbs replaced

Myself and t12eed (tony) had tonaz car booked in for a winter protection detail on the paint
First of all we eventually got the car up the hill to my house, and on first inspection the car was extremely dirty, dont think tonaz had had chance to clean it for a few months, a little love lossed I...
