i lowered my car last week and have noticed that the mount on the strut for the front inside the bonnet are about 5mm away from the bodywork and not actually touching,this normal and ok?just checking,better to be safe than sorry

Taken the original air filter housing off so i could measure my throttle body for my bmc elbow i need to buy and saw that this was there too.It connects once the original air filter housing is on.Whats it for? bottom left on the 1st top right of 2nd pic cheers matt

basically had a lambda sensor replaced as it was knackered and as he replaced it with car on ramps he noticed that my handbrake wasnt even bolted down,so it was therefore loose and free moving!!It was "mot'd" when i bought it so i had 12 months but surely it shouldnt have passed?! cheers
