oh i highly recommend an alpine unit (im currently using one myself with a KTP-445A)

i'd try and get the KTP-445U and not the KTP-445A if you have't got a alpine head unit

that is crap. well most BT dongles should do FTP (file transfer protocol) if you can send a file to a non-iphone then it should work to update the head unit

can you not update it via USB?

they only make monitors so unless you looked for them you might not of seen them. they tend not to make gaming monitors but just general purpose ones

i quite like this monitor i not sure if their customer service is as good as it used to be but it used to be second to none

i run plex on a hp microserver and play stuff through a wdtv play the play is pretty good even comes with a couple of apps (iplayer,tunein radio etc.) and send stuff from a windows machine to it to play

i'd give the KTP-445U a try first i use mine with the standard speakers (although not a renault) and it is surprising how loud it goes before it distorts (not sure what gives out first)

nope doesn't work on mine either but it is 50Mbits/s so that could explain something it works fine on my phone (htc one m8)

i'll try on my laptop being as it fairly similar but with a older gpu i'd also go through the catalyst control center and make sure everything is set to performance

it will be soldered to the motherboard. what sort of bitrate is the video?

did it install ok? i know when i did mine it said i didn't have an hardware that matched but i had to uninstall the windows drivers and try the driver install again

i'd try downloading the amd drivers from the amd website and try installing them first and see what that does

i'm going to throw it out there. raspberry pi and camera then there will be loads of tutorials on how to do what you want i'd sell the ipone 4 to fund the project

that's a better gpu than my dell 1737 although i do have a "faster" cpu, it should play it all fine it only just struggled with some 4k videos

what os is the laptop running? i was having the same problems on my laptop with some 1080p videos and i tried to upgrade the GPU drivers and realised windows (win 8.1) was using it's own. had to uninstall the widows ones before being able to install the AMD ones which cured the probs.

raspberry pi and a 10 port hub? or looking at it you might be able to use some of the gpio to control the FB3-SE's

but it's not in the same price bracket it would be just the 780

so what would you recommend out of a nvidia 780 or a AMD 290x? looking to use my bitcoin so their the options i'm looking at also they would both be ok for 4k res (not for gaming)

can you up-scale videos with a video editor and get a better result than doing it on the fly? (i.e going from 1080p to 4k) if you can would AMD or Nvidia be better?

i'm guessing they are 18650 li-ion cells about the biggest you can get is a genuine 3000mAh i want to try and knock up a decent charging dock for those batteries using a cheap RC li-po charger

what is the capacity of the item your charging i guessed at 2000mAh ish and 4 30-100% charges would of used roughly 7000mAh of capacity

lmfao run it under the car :headno: you can get it through a grommet in the passenger footwell and run it under the trim to the back and you do not need to run the rca leads on the other side

so that's what 7000mAh used by those charges? (real rough guess)

if i can get 14 hours out of a phone i'm happy

i'd go for something like this got the optical in you would need for the xbox and the 3.5mm sockets for the speakers
