I've read and followed this thread throughout it's ups and downs, but haven't really commented.
Although I've never met you, you're obviously a thoroughly nice guy, who completely deserves this STUNNING car!! (It's nice to see someone quite humble!)
Hopefully this will help heel the heartache...
Having owned both (at the same time), I completely agree with this!!
I sold the 200 and still have the 172 Cup, don't think I can part with the 172 Cup! The 172 cup feels more like an old school hot hatch (obviously) like a modern 205 GTi, where as the Clio 200 feels like a mini race car /...
As per title, does anyone know anything about Graham & Bowness Renault in Workington, CA14 2TQ?
Trying to find out some info on a car that was serviced there, but their website doesn't appear to be working?! Does anyone know if they're still operating, or when they stopped?
Any info would be...
Yes mate, H&R springs and spacers. They were already on the car when I got it, so assume the spacers are 20mm. (Haven’t got round to measuring them, but they look about 20mm). Cheers
Just thought I'd update this as I'm now the proud owner of this car! Hope the OP doesn't mind? I've now added a Cup spoiler and some wind deflectors. I've also retro fitted the RS monitor and changed the gear knob.
Would be interested to know if the OP is still around?
Really sorry to see this and gutted for you!
Why do things like this always seem to happen to the really nice, well looked after cars?!
Hope it all gets sorted with minimum fuss....
Recently picked up this 2011 Clio 200 in Pearl White with factory painted black roof (1 of 17) , Recaro's, Cup Pack, Speedlines and fitted with a Scorpion non-res cat back exhaust, H&R lowering springs and spacers, absolutely love this car!!
I wish I had 2 of them. One I could drive all the time, the other, a really low mileage one, to keep the mileage low, if that makes sense.
Although I'm a firm believer these cars should be driven, it's just a shame I can't have my cake and eat it....
Mines on 91k miles, want to keep it below the magic 100k miles, but love driving it too much!!
I have just purchased a Clio 200 with cup pack, so hopefully that will help to keep the mileage down.
Is this normal on a Clio 200 front bumper? I've seen a couple like this, has it had a poor paint job or is it just how they come from the factory? If it's been painted it seems an odd place to mask off, almost looks like it'e been 'wrapped' which it hasn't. Any advice / opinions would be...
