Why haven't you been on to Renault? I'm assuming it's related to the cambelt? A tensioner went on my old one but luckily the belt didn't skip so everything was fine with new belt! If it is cambelt related, you're in their 72k 5yr period they must contribute.

Seen a few of these about, went out in the X3.5d one with my mate and it went for its size! I think they're great and would have one if I could afford it, that and an M3 on the drive would be perfect. :D
