Right so basically I'm 18 and have a little 1.2 clio which I've owned for little over a year. its been off the road now since december as me and the missus have just moved into a new house and at the moment we cant afford to insure and run it aswell as getting the house sorted, I'm considering...
Price is a lot better now but in all honesty I think your going to have to come down a bit more, regardless of the extremely impressive spec I don't think many people are going to pay 9k for a 182 no matter what the spec,
But I genuinely do wish you all the best with the sale as I'm sure to you...
I've read this entire thread from start to finish it's taken me about 3 days and that's a few hours of reading a day!
What an amazing build, I just don't understand why you would be considering selling already after you've put so much work into it, best car on here by far
Re: ***How much is my car worth?***
I have a y reg (2001) mk2 ph2 1.2 16v in blue
It's been fully colour coded inc spoiler, door handles and all bump strips
16" White team dynamics motorsports
Lowered 40mm on gmax springs
Rs grill
On 70,000 miles
Recent belts
New rear shock
New clutch...
Stupidly excessive camber, looks broken.
Bonnet raisers
Bonnet bras
Once again the whole smurf thing
Massive exhausts (I actually saw one in asda Cwmbran the other day on a mk2 astra that I could of fitted my whole head in)
Loads of stickers
The list goes on...
Will look a million times better with the bbs wheels, personally I would go with 3/4 front plate, and standard rear, get an rs grill, and a dynamique spoiler and it will look spot on
To be honest 800 seems very steep to me, but I've only had experience with a body shop once when the missus ran the side of the car across a lamp post, very similar damage to yours only it was from the bottom right up to the window and it was a hell of a mess, had it beaten filled and resprayed...
Without a doubt the council are liable to pay for the damage it never should of been left like that especially without any sort of cone or something to make you aware really feel for you mate, I bet your gutted
