I wouldn't employ or contract out to anyone who's portfolio site was done in Flash. It screams to me "I don't know HTML".
For someone who's been at it for 10 years I'd expect a lot better - Valid, well crafted (X)HTML, CSS layout and some advanced techniques.
Yes, but Mozilla actually fix the problems in a timely fashion, unlike MS.
Look at the advisories on http://secunia.com/
Anyhow, security is no concern to me as I won't be using it. I do have to write for it though and IE7s standards support is unsuprisingly dissapointing.
It's pretty sluggish when skipping tracks and seems to have problems if you rotate the wheel on the stalk controls too fast.
The display shows TR 99, It ceases to change track when rotated and the iPod display sticks to one track regardless of what is playing. The only cure is to unplug and...
Yep, you need to restart Apache to pick up any changes made to httpd.conf
If you're experimenting you can create a .htaccess file and put your stuff in there. It reads that for each request so takes immediate effect without a restart.
Wait until you get into mod_rewrite ;)
I can't work out if that's a joke or not, but they've not "admitted" anything about them. IBM simply couldn't provide what Apple wanted from the CPU roadmap.
Xbox 360's use the PPC chip in case you weren't aware.
It's only until Adobe rewrite them as Universal Binaries though, so will be slower now then a lot faster when the've redone them.
It's a no-brainer really. Go for the Intel processor one.
I have a dual 2.5ghz with a 23" Cinema display. It's mine not work's though. :D
I love it to bits. Had PC's for years but this is so much better. I still have to use Windows at work though :(
Been there done that!
The mounting holes are in different places so they won't fit. Recaro do this deliberately so you can't buy cheap seats from other cars instead of from them.
I bought a pair a while back, waited ages for the frames and then ended up selling them on.
Not at all actually, I just like the designs. Mountain Bikes are my thing. I make my own wallpapers and icons with EPS's of the logos and alternate them all the time.
I do have a spare £1k knocking aroung and I would pay that but fortunately I'm not having too. ;) I got a cracking deal in return for some advertising.
One reason why they are so expensive is they are handmade to order.
I loved the squab pouches when I had Recaros in my FRST for a while. I...
You duplicate the page and change the center content to match with what the page is about.
ie. on here when you change page the whole browser window reloads but the menus stay the same.
If you don't want to have the navigation on each page you'll need to use a server side include via a web...
I got mine last Thursday, I would have posted then but I've had no internet.
If you' remove the glovebox light you can feed the cable through by the flexible clip bit and then refit the light. Super neat and no need to drill a hole.
Just ordered one with free delivery here: http://www.caraudioplus.co.uk/pp/iPod_Car_Adapters/iPod_Adapters_for_Factory_Radios/Renault_iPod_Ice_Link_Plus_Adapter.html (and 2p cheaper!)
A lot of places still seem to have the old one for £150+
Mine's the full fat 182 Cabasse, but I've just looked and it does say "tuner list" in small letters at the bottom. Now I know which one I need.
One last question. Can you change track with the iPod navigation when it's connected? Or does it only work with the stereo controls?
My brother's got...
Go and find a Mac and have a play with it, that's the only way you'll know if you want one.
I had PCs for years and changed to a Mac a year ago. Couldn't be happier. For me it's perfect.
You could remove the rears, but for a stripped out look you're probably not going to spend a grand on tilting recliners, more like half that on some fixed back buckets.
My other car has Sparco buckets, 6 points and a cage so I need my 182 to be practical as a daily driver.
