Yes, but only if you want to pay over the odds for something thats based on style over content. I've had to use them professionally for about 12 years now, and every revision of Mac OS is the same - just like the last one (with all its bugs and problems) only with more features added (hence more...
Tell me about it, 1100 quid for a 100-400 L 700 quid for a 24-105 L, then it was 750 quid for a better camera and god knows how much for all the other bits like tripods, flashgun, portable storage, cleaning bits, memory cards, I've spent the national debt of some third world countries on camera...
Very little to choose between the two, when I bought my first DSLR I went for the Canon 300D, about 6 months after the missus bought a Nikon D70, in those days the D70 was miles better, but these days its more down to preference, both brands make excellent cameras. Experts say that Nikon have...
One tiny addition to this, the 'experts view' is that a 2x converter degrades image quality by a noticable amount, if you head on over to the Warehouse Express forum, you'll find a thread about this, they're quite lucky over there as Andy Rouse frequents the forum and is only too happy to share...
What they dont tell you about that lens is that it needs its own power supply! you have to have a huge battery pack on a webbing around your waist to make the damn thing work, according to Andy Rouse that lens doesn't even use their best glass and its autofocus is slow so even if i could afford...
Common mis-conception im afraid, the wireless telegraphy act states that you can only receive any transmission that you are licensed to, technically its illegal to listen to anything barring public broadcasts.

I dont think anybody would mind at all had he not 'made' a total f**king 4 wheeled abortion.
Class and taste are like the clap - you either have them or you dont.
Welcome to the world of second hand car dealing, any dealer will look to make a minimum of 1500 quid profit on any used car and if they get away with not doing anything they will.
Theres nothing unusual about what they did, its what they all do, only difference is that the car came from Ebay...
Good shout on the lens, you'll notice a difference with any L series lens, gets expensive though, you can buy a new car for less than the cost of some lenses :)
Wii through a projector is looking awesome, keep trying to get the missus to have one in the lounge but she's having none of it.
Aint that the truth, slimy get selling it even states HPI clear, pretty obvious what the intention is there then!
Shame about the car though, enough to make a grown man weep :(
The G5 has a really nice case, other than that - sod all.
The mac fanboys will be up in arms at the thought, but the truth is the mac is over-rated, overpriced crap, i've had to use them for years, first one was a 133MHz one, that was s**t, the OS was s**t and it cost a fortune - nothings...
The Bose wave system sounds pretty good, the mother in law has one, snazzy remote control, can't say i'd pay a grand for one though. I've got the quiet comfort 2 noise cancelling headphones, they are worth their weight in gold on a plane if your long-hauling, sound quality is very good, wierd...
Re: Would you buy a 100,000 mile 182
Theres the rub, at 2k i'd say yeah go for it but at the money you're talking i'd give it a wide berth. At 2 grand you could sit on the other 3 for any mechanical problems that might hit and then its worth considering, but over 5k? I certainly wouldn't.
Yes it does, it says i like to drive quickly, if i'd wanted to crawl everywhere i'd have stuck with the 1.2 I used to drive. Are you trying to tell us that you that you bought a 172 cup (good choice BTW) and drive it like Mother Theresa? I think not.
At least I own up to driving the way I do.
That f**king really REALLY winds me up when tossers do that, have you noticed that its usually someone driving something shitty and slow? I don't mind if they want to dawdle - I don't, they're on my track, get the f**k out of my way!!
Echo that totally, take a look at my pics in this thread from a while back ,they were all shot on a 300D as the 5D I had out there died on me, the 300D is old, slow and 6.1mp, but stick a decent bit of L glass on it and the results are fairly good :)
Any DLSR will give good pics these days...
You can get hold of a 6800 Ultra on fleabay for about 70 quid, that copes with most stuff on this 4 year old 3.2gHz p4 without much problem, Quake4 on the highest settings is a total no-no but Halo, UT2004, Lord of the Rings online run just fine. There's only the 7950 on an AGP thats quicker -...
