Cheers Skott - up to know it's a bottom arm and subframe being replace :(
Tyranical - read my opening post. I gave way at the roundabout, meaning I would have to stop - in order for me to drive beyond the limits in that short distance I would need some sort of rocket propelled car.
There was 4 people who spun at that point so not only me. The fiesta was behind me if you look at the pics, the car in front did a 270o, I hit the kerb, the fiesta "drifted' lol and another clio did the same.
I've got 5 people who'll act as a witness soooooooo.....
^^ that's a pic of the road exiting the roundabout
^^ that's a pic looking back to the roundabout - it's extremely obvious on the exit side but nothing so clear on the roundabout!
Think I'm either going to have to fit bigger profile tyres, some sort of dodgem buffer around the full outside of the car or to not drive!
It's actually scared me and put me off :(
Thanks for the reply Whiteley - I was hoping for this.
DrRollo - I've been driving for 6 years now, full no claims and no points.
I don't drive like a tw@, like others I enjoy the occassional stretching her legs but there's a time and place.
Damp conditions on quite rural roads is not a good place to play!
I was doing <10mph and can only describe...
The guy who lost control prior to me had been pulled up at the side of the road and watched as I smashed into the kerb.
He's gave me all of his contact details as he said he would be a witness for me.
I've taken photos/videos of the scene with evidence of diesel/oil on the road etc.
Adam thanks for the only sensible reply so far.
Revels I know in the past motorcyclists have claimed against the council due to them not dealing properly with the initial clean up.
They have managed to recover the costs of repairs etc so perhaps it would be the same case for me?
Hi Guys,
Pretty much as the title goes.
Was going for a run out in car with the better half and a couple of other cars. Come to a roundabout which unknown to me was covered in diesel. Gave way to cars coming round then pulled out nicely with the weather being quite poor. Hit the diesel and...
As said add female drivers or older blokes onto it seems to drop it right down.
However when doing it mix it up - say try your dad at first, then your dad and a sister, then your dad, sister and aunty/uncle (if you have any) then mix it up from there, it might work out cheaper to have your...
Spotted what I can only presume is knuckles down there today.
Had a CS tax disc holder and was 'slightly' lowered.
Looked very clean and the bullet were a nice touch!
Give Manic Motors a ring - they're in East Boldon not far from the metro station which could come in handy for work.
Their number is 0191 536 8173.
These are the only guys I have ever used for my cars and to be honest you can't fault them.
If you need any help with where it is or anything...
Spotted what was possibly a black gold 182 in Asda South Shields at around 9pm today.
Reason I'm doubting this is due to it having 03 I'm the the and it didn't look like a private plate.
Sticker was in the bottom right of the back windscreen.
Bark x
Re: Project OEM Chavbox. Alot of Pictures
Not all saxo's are Halfords magnets!
My last car which is now owned by my younger brother, still love driving it!
Alright Guys,
Just as the title goes really, trying to change the original glow plugs on my 106 which is nearly ticking onto 100k.
It's happened to 2 out of 4 so far, the nut at the top of it keeps spinning and doesn't seem to be pushing it any further out.
Any ideas how I can go about...
