Not the best quality of pics if i'm honest - a cracking looking car that I look forward to seeing again in the daylight.
Cheers.

Cheers.
Does he have a Mac? I think iPhoto can process RAW images.
Did he not get some Nikon software with his camera that can be used?
I love the colours you can get at night. Don't know how many times I've played about with the colours on this one (before I "lost" the master image)
Shutter speed settings mate - move the wheel as far to the right (I think) as you can. Your display should show 30" or something like that to signify a 30 second exposure.
As everyone suggests, go for as low an ISO setting as you can. I set up on a high tripod with a 30 second exposure. Haven't tried it for a while - must try again.
Those were both taken on a D40x back in 2007.
Looking for about a 30 second exposure for those sort of pics Paul. I've tried it a couple of times with varying degrees of success.

Got some pics from the latest 'shire meat. Two females at this one; a definite improvement from the last few meets.
As always, further pics on my flickr - www.flickr.com/albroon
Highlight was the manky thong. "Discharge" on it according to Alan (previous experience I guess). Came...
Tell me about it.
Ford need to get their act together with the build process. Folk are waiting far too long and my be tempted to cancel and go for the new Megane if it lives up to it's predecessors.
Yeah - Alan hooked me up
lol - wish i had a tenner for every time i've been asked that! :)
Ford have acknowledged my (amended) order but haven't allocated me a build or delivery date yet. Gonna chase up the dealer thru the week to see if there's any more news.
Following on from the thread 2 weekends ago with my Dad's RS, I decided to give the ol' STi the same treatment.
All products used were from Chemical Guys (with the exception of Auto-Glym Super Resin Polish) - can't recommend them enough.

Alright Davey - didn't spot that it was a 182.
You coming to the chatelherault park meet tonight ?

That's right Craig - Scooby definitely starts to pull but I think things would be much closer with a non-PPP Scooby or a remapped RS
From a standing start the RS would have no chance. 4WD vs FWD torque limited in the low gears.
