the department of transport ruels are diffrent to mot rules. if a car is fitted from standered hid lams you do not need headlamp washers head lamp washers are not part of the test. if you fit a hid kit it will pass if the beam is set correctly and the bulbs show whit light on plain white paper...

on mine i had all 4 broken great excuise to lower it. also fail quite a few clios on snaped springs recently on there mots.
