I've been toying with moving mine on for a VX220 Turbo if only I could find one local to test drive to see if my back will let me own one... It;s about as mint as they get, I'd put it up at £11k I think (HPi clear or course, 30k miles, belts done, FRSH etc etc). £9k seems a bit much to me for...
Oh don't get me wrong, if I was doing a commute of a good few miles, I'd buy one too. I'd hate myself, but I would. Needs must and all. Actually I wouldn't I'd get something with a VAG Derv instead. Although when I really think about it for a commute I'd want toys and comfort, with the...
A remapped C2 HDi110 would be a right weapon. They remap to about 140bhp and 300nm... That's as much torque as a Vee heh! Shame you'd look like a gay and it would probably grenade the entire drivetrain daily :)

I hate it when I drive somewhere pikey, where there are chavs just standing around in the streets (why do they do that? don't they have homes to smoke in and Jeremy Kyle to watch on the TV?) - if I have my window open they always say "How much was that mate?".
"You're standing on a street...
I hope not. Then we'll have to listen to more cheap skates banging on about torque, and 'real world situations'. Their argument of course been that in the real world you never, ever want to have to change down so it's good to have torque... Yea... Right...

Weird logic. I'd rather spend money on maintaining and running the Cup than paying for the depreciation on a 1.2 to be honest.
But, your money, your call :)
Dan
I've never noticed a 1.2 with RS badges (unless it's been a full rep and I haven't known I suppose) because I'd never take the time to give a 1.2 a proper looking at. If I see an RS model on the road I generally tend to have a nice look, don't bother with non-RS ones as they're nothing special...
For that list, it has to be a cheap 182 - £6.5k will get you a lovely, not old one - it'll depreciate the least, it's cost the least to buy/run/insure/fix and it'll be just as much fun 99.99% of the time.
Dan
Taking the Xenons of the 182 Cup and selling them seperately will also make no difference at all to the selling the price IMHO - most people don't have a clue and just think they are fancy bulbs or something.

The optimum change light in the Vee is comedy, max power is at 6,000rpm, light comes on at about 7,250rpm heh. Hence I've only seen it about twice. The power having noticeably tailed off by then.
