    I used to have a Netgear router, I ended up hitting it against the edge of my desk till it broke in half, Linksys is where its at, had one for 2 years and never even had to restart it. Lan/wireless/firewall all in one box, the newer versions even looker nicer than the blue/black one I use.

    With a battery in decent condition a Canon DSLR should be good for about 600-700 shots if you dont use flash or an image stabilising lens. I use a battery grip on both of mine so its about double that. If you do buy another battery though small tip mate - stay clear of those Hahnel cheap...
