Dont worry about it Pete it'll be fine. All the 172/182's are recomended to run on 97ron (sticker inside the cap) and there is probably more people on here that run standard stuff to optimax etc without problems..
In my old mans bmw it says the recomended fuel is 97ron too but again he puts...
Yeah your correct mate. i'm pretty sure someone asked this question in that new technical section in evo magazine a few months back and got a really good answer for his question... maybe should try dig it out if you keep them?

id of swapped front / backs round just before the fronts went, get a lot more life then.. thats what ive done with my conti's... i got some PE2's waiting to go on and i cant wait!
by the time you have driven to the petrol station or whatever your tyres will be hot.. put 36 in the front and 34 in the back... when its cold this will be about 32 - 30.. buy a decent pressure gauge too to check overnight
And...... i think my cup looks nicer than the civic. but..... its not happened yet but if one pulled up to me next to some lights i think id feel a degree of envy, a bit of a knob
I'd just drive them both and see which you like best, i personally would rather have a type-r but didnt want to spend any more than i did for my cup.. the cheapest examples at the time were 8.5k, tatty and done like 60k miles.

yeahh dead easy.. im next to useless at that sort of thing, just pulled out the old leads and whacked them straight into that.. you have to run the wire for the mic for the handsfree too.
