Danny boy I have a standard phase 2 clio 16v. NOTHING has been done to the engine, it has standard air filter and standard exhaust. As craggy says some are just very fast out of the box, like craggys standard willy, he has low six seconds and i have very low 7s - quality control for renault...

Things like: Rear arches for rust Gearbox after 60k Steering pump (mine has whined all its life but is still ok) Cambelt at 65/70k Obviously check all the usual stuff Hope that helps mate.

A clutch is not an easy fix. It is normally a engine out job to be done properly. You can do it without tkaing the engine out but apparently its not as accurate. If jamie has not done it before then i would recommend a mobile mechanic but that will cost! Best off taking it too a garage you...

My mate has one and had several races. Although his his chipped,filter,and zorst. All captured on a dashboard video camera 0-60 he beat me by a cars length, 0-100 he again was ahead BUT after 110 i was pushing him out the way and passed him. So after many tests my standard 16v would beat a...
