Seen in kingsway retail park, parked beside Burger King about 1pm today! Looked fantastic, dark turinis with matching bullets, recaro's, new style 200 badge on rear, and exhaust of some sort...someone on here? Reg started NL55 I think
Like what you have done with your engine bay mate, looks good  makes me want to get round to cleaning and spraying mines up sometime! I would also change your coolant expansion tank as mentioned, makes a big difference in tidying things up!
There is one thing mind you that would sway me to anthracite, the fact that Iv got a set of Sprayshack anthracite bullets with RB text from the group buy waiting to go on once it's detailed. If I went for silver I don't think the anthracite bullets would have the same effect!
Thanks mate, hopefully source a set if they come up at the right price! Just not sure whether I would prefer them in Cup silver or Trophy anthracite...do think the Cup silver would look clean against the RB's paint though.
Well it's been a while since I'v added anything to this...not a great deal has happened since the last update. I fitted and ran the Milltek de-cat pipe for around 3000 miles but have just taken it off for the standard cat as the noise was a bit too much for my liking inside the cabin. Did sound...
It appears the time has come for the suspension to be refreshed on my 182, it's approaching the 90,000 mark and things feel loose so gonna sharpen things up and hopefully enjoy the car again. Have done searches and read loads on this subject...now the car is used only at weekends really on the...
Looks excellent mate, really nice! What type are the eibach spacers if you don't mind me asking? The wheels sit spot on imo, I have the cup alloys which are the same et as your trophy wheels if I'm not mistaken? Could see a set of these spacers being added to the suspension parts I'm in the...
Will have a look on there, cheers. You don't happen to know the dimensions of the 182 one do you? Not sure how they work out sizes for a strap, I know cables are measured in mm2.
Crazy, would love to hear the reason behind it. Was surprised to see they don't have the brake/clutch plates anymore as iv seen a few people on here refreshing just the plates before...£8 seems like a steal as well for Renault prices!
Ah that explains it maybe. Finished doing them for good I wonder, or just out of stock hopefully. Was really hoping for a pair to freshen things up, already got an accelerator in the heel-toe group buy! Cheers for the link, never knew of that site...and apologies for the thread hi-jack!
This might seem a daft question but the part number for the plates is the one at top right yeah? 60 00 073 658? Was on the phone earlier trying to order two new plates for brake and clutch but the lad on the other end didn't seem to think they done them!
Hi, can anyone tell me if they know of a part number for ordering a new earth strap for my 182, the one from the gearbox to the chassis? Phoned Renault Wolverhampton today but the guy wasn't able to find anything on the system when I told him what I was after. Or does anyone know the dimensions...
Sorted out a horrible rattle which made the car sound very broken from outside...turns out the fuel rail guard had worked loose and one of the nuts has in fact came off and disappeared altogether! Tightened up the remaining nut and will need to order up another one for the other side, the joys...
Think from memory they take around 5 litres if changing the filter as well, if not then slightly less like 4.8 or something, should be on here somewhere if you do a search, or in the handbook if you've got one. It's recommended to change the filter at same time as well. I would just fill up...
Should be spot on with that mate, 5w40 fully synth. is the recommended gear for these engines. I just use Elf stuff for cost purposes, think it was only £24 for 5L last time I purchased from Renault Wolverhampton on here.
Mats fitted, fairly happy with how they look
Will look much better once the pedal plates are refreshed, and also plan to clean the seatbelts at same time, will be happy enough with interior once those jobs are done. There is a bit of wear on the drivers side bolster from the previous owner but...
That head unit looks really good actually, not usually a fan of aftermarket HU's but that fits in nicely...is that the DAB version? Fancy upgrading myself, need something with iPod connectivity, sick of having to bring cd's in the car.
Oh and also must give a mention to Brentacre Insurance, renewed my insurance at the start of the month, they came in with a cracking price of £550 for my 2 years NCB and all mods, with freedom to add as many mods as I like as long as they don't increase engine power, so big thumbs up to these...
Next job is to fit the Milltek de-cat pipe that was recently purchased, just currently in the process of collecting parts and advice on here so I can sort the whole system at once and hopefully do it right first time and not have to mess around with it afterwards or bodge anything with cable...
