To put things into prospetive, it's a 54 Dynamique with 45,000 miles on, in good condition both inside and out. I was hoping to get around 2000 for the car, with cars with similar age/miles going for between 2000 and 2500 on sales sites.
Old MOT receipts, receipts for tax, tyre changes, basically everything I can document has been, just stuff such as cambelt change and services. I'm not sure if I'd be able to get them documented now. In any event any buyer that may be interested could have the car looked over at a garage of...
Basically, my car will be going up for sale imminently. When I bought it, it was on 22,000 miles and had just come out of its warrenty by about 2 months. I bought the car with no log book and no service history, partly because it was a serious bargain at the time, mainly because of the fact it...
I agree that alot of cars, most owned by people on here, will be very cared for and will go on for ever. However, I'd say a good 80% that get into the hands of people that don't give a sh*t will fall to pieces. There's no shying away from the fact the build quality on the MK2s is awful.
Experiencing the durability of the interior at 40,000 miles, thats with being looked after too, I can't see it getting any better after a good 100,000 miles.
I got insured when I was 19 with 2 years NCB on a 1.2 for 700 quid, in the second to worst postcode.
Getting quotes next year on insurance group 16 - 18 cars, 20 years old with 3 years no claims and they are coming in at around the 1000 mark.
Buy something cheap, get your experience up and...
I'd say that I'm completely incapable of doing any of the work myself, I'm not very hands on with cars. Was looking to just leave it at a garage and pick it up a finished job.
But in any case it's looking like it could be an expensive option, can't say I'd be too happy throwin 3K at a 3K car...
Not for my current car.
I'm torn between an RB 182, or an older 172 and respray it white. Was just trying to juggle the numbers to see if it was in budget etc..
Don't know what its like in an RS, but on a motorway my 1.2 at 100 feels like it is going to disintigrate at any moment. RS or not, I wouldn't want to do 110 down a country lane!
Shooting a guy before for about 3 seconds, turns round and two bullets me in the leg. Watch the kill cam and the guy had picked my gun up, and killed me with it. The same gun that 5 seconds before I was butchering him with. Figure?
Still enjoying the game, although I can't play it unless i'm...
Haha, this made me laugh out loud.
In all serious there are some idiots on this forum. Its impossible to advise someone that is obviously pretty insane anyway.
Had been to the asda, was just driving past on my way home, you go on there often? Some decent cars go on there on a sunday night.
The buckets in yours looked epic, how you finding it now that its stripped?
Had them in mine for almost 2 years, never been flashed, never been pulled.
Although, I will also add that yes the light scatter is horrible, the DO blind on coming traffic, and a down right dangererous if there is any water on the road. I got them because I thought they look good. 2 years...
