I used the silver hammerite smooth on my 172's calipers and it was fine during normal road use. After trackdays though I had to reapply it because the silver whent a nice gold colour due to the heat :clown:
Weird. How thin are the surfaces? Are either of the two wear markers still left on them?
Just wondering because I know the discs get eaten up very quickly with the PF pads. I have to change my discs after a couple of trackdays.
Jesus, how the hell did you manage that.
Are these the Brembo Max discs still? I've hammered mine on trackdays and never even had any signs of warping, can't imagine how you got them to fracture like that.
Just thought i'd post up the pics of my repair job with the PC.
The plan was to tackle the etching that had been left on the rear bumper and tailgate by some evil bird crap.
This was what it looked like before i started. This was as good as i could get it after a couple of treatments by...

Also check to see how much movement you have to apply to the pedal...
No, nothing wrong with thinking that mate, I loved it and had they not released the Trophy, id still have it.
The Trophy just came out at the right time where it was both financially beneficial to change and was for me a much better car. Very happy that I changed, the Trophy is without doubt...
