Depends how new your 182 is. Check the standard head unit, if it has 'Tuner List' written on it, this will work fine.
If it has 'Update List' on it, then you're out of luck for stalk adapters at the moment i'm afraid. :(
As far as I know Cat. D shouldn't affect the cost of insurance on the car (although you have to tell them) and doesn't need a VIC (Vehicle Identity Check) to be carried out as other categories do.
I've never been in that situation myself, but i believe it works like this.
Insurance company write of the car and offer you say (random figures!) £4000 as a payout. You say you want to buy the car back, so they deduct the salvageable value of the car (say £1200) from your pay out.
So...
Noooo! Not the Green Sheep!
That was looking great Jon, really like the way the Mk2 bumpstrips came out.
Difficult to know how much damage has been done behind that wheel, but i'd be suprised if it's written off really. If it is buy it back and fix it, cant be that much to fix with bits from...
Yeah, they're not the easiest cars to drive from a transmission point of view, but you do get used to it quite quickly.
You wait till you get stuck in a traffic jam on a hill! Hope your clutch foot is in good shape :clown:
The Trophy and later 182's came with a very slightly different head unit / display / stalk hardware. The standard head units in these have 'Update List' rather than the usual 'Tuner List' on them.
Just about all the current stalk adapters / changer interfaces etc on the market do not work...
Apart from the Renault pads, every other type of pad i've used doesn't fit with the metal clip / shim things attached unless you grind some off the pad because they are designed to fit the caliper.
I just remove the metal shims and jobs a goodun' personally. As far as I know they are there...
Looks great mate!
I don't personallly like the chopped number plates, but otherwise spot on. Flame Red is still my favourite colour.
Too bad you didnt get the car a month or two earlier you could have had my cup spoiler already in flame red :(
Not sure how many of them are on here, but on the ClioTrophy website we've had owners of cars between 005 and 494.
005 is a press car though so that was a journalist who had it on loan.
Try the download again if you dont get the whole clip. Unfortunately this is what you get when you pay £5 a month for stupid amounts of webspace.
Roamer is right with the hosting of this site, you get what you pay for :p
Was an excellent day, Goodwood is a really fun circuit. :D Would have been good to get one more session, but will be back there again sometime next year no doubt.
Had a quick scan back through the video, and it seems like the camera clouded up for most of that last session  Seems...
