Cool cheers guys, aux belt, alternator and new battery if required can just be bought from where I work, so that's no problem. Good to know its not to serious.
Drove up to Durham this afternoon about ten miles, got back to the girlfriends parked car up and everything had been fine. Started the car up, got about half way home when the stop light flicked on, got home. It wasn't far at all. Checked under the bonnet and a lot of steam/smoke was coming from...
Suspension was all fine mate, it was only a scrape. I'd drove the car and it felt tight as ever. As for pictures I wish I'd took some, but didn't think to do so, just too angry.
Thought I'd update this thread to get some advice/ opinions on what to do.
Anyway, shortly after this incident happened the lady came over and dropped off the cash to stump up for the repairs. Ordered a new wing off renparts, in RB. Great service and very helpful, I wish everyone I'd dealed...
Yeah could be that one! Everytime i see the guy when im in mine, he looks at me as if im the one in a stupid car!
Yeah, at CTS in south shields if you know it. Tyne Dock, spend most of my time at uni though.
If you want all the toys, climate, cruise control, leather, xenons etc then id say go for a 182. There are deals to be had out there for good condition 182's around the 3k mark.
I dont imagine they drive much, if any different at all. Have a look at the colours on here, seeing some in the flesh...
