I said the 172 cup shafts would fit into 182 hubs - which they do and that the track rods would fit too - which they also do, you just need to wind them in but there's room to do that.
Exactly the same as what I said when I was looking at putting 182 hubs onto my cup.
They run a bigger bearing in them too over the 172 items which certainly looks more robust but they definitely don't add any extra width.
Induction - pointless
You won't get any extra power, the standard airbox isn't restrictive and it's well designed. You'd get a little tiny bit more noise but certainly not worth the effort
The exhaust has been done quite a lot on high power cars - standard silencers and cat for MOT and...
I fully agree with that - except that you might take a bit of a hit on the 7D as the 7D MKII comes out in the next 6 months - but it doesn't matter because the 7D at £5-600 is a fecking bargain.
You'd have to pry my 7D out of my cold dead hands. Owned 2 of them and for fast moving stuff...
I love FF for certain things - but I still don't think it has it's place in track photography unless you have very deep pockets
Turn up at most UK tracks with a 6D and an 18-135mm and you'll be more frustrated than a guy with a 450D and a 70-200 f4L
This could be a complete can of worms situation here but oh well..
My opinion is that it's better to have bolt-to-hub spacers and then bolt your wheels to the spacers, and that's exactly what I've got with 20mm bolt to hub spacers on my car
HOWEVER one of my friends is actually a bolt...
Tough choice. I have a 7D as it's far more rugged and well built but the 70D is awesome for video
I'd still buy the 7D having used both but that's just because I have a 70-300L and the 70D feels a bit flimsy against it
I ended up buying a £14 "kelux" mount -> http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00G9GC9J4/?tag=cliospnet01-21
But they've sold out now.
It's really actually very good, clips into the kinect mount well and is really sturdy on the TV
I got a reply from PDP and they said there's will be for sale in...
I've just ordered a cheap £14 one from amazon. The light stand works well but it's quite far back so the tv is in the way
I'll post up pics when it arrives
If you look on amazon apparently some of the orb ones were sold with the wrong size connector
If you email them they'll send you a replacement
It put me off as it seems very 50/50 whether you get a good one or not
Just tried that - works really well but a bit chunky as my gorillapod is the big DSLR Zoom version.
But a light stand works too!
Haha
Think i'll leave it like that till the proper one comes out, the accessories for xbox one seem to be thin on the ground at the moment :(
Anyone got a tv mount for their Kinect 2.0 ?
My tv cabinet is only about a foot off the floor and it's a bit too low - plus I want to get a soundbar in the new year, so really want to mount the kinect on top of the TV
Microsoft recommend a kit by PDP -...
Well christmas was a big surprise for me
Opened the gift from my girlfriend to find it was an Xbox One day one edition!!!
Then I got forza from her parents and cod from my mum.
Absolutely chuffed to bits
Been playing forza all afternoon and the graphics have blown me away. The vibration...
Oh god that's gorgeous
It's really not helping seeing people buy these. I wanted to sell the Clio this year and get one but then wimped out at the last minute
Every time I see one though I feel the urge to buy one again!
Aye - Since doing all the geometry work, epas and other bits I've only driven it once on that Cadwell evening and it felt like a different car. So much more grip and quicker turn in.
Gonna wang some good rubber on it and spend 6 months getting to grips with the car :D
It maybe was common...
That's information you had (getting them cheap 2nd hand) and I didn't - but still a good dig ;)
There's loads of stuff needs doing on mine (cambelt - I THINK, new omex loom, diff, tyres, etc...) but I've decided instead to buy some part worn 888's and drive it till it breaks.
I've spent too...
Have to say I was a bit shocked to read this, but brilliant to see a positive reply from Greenlight
I have both my cars insured with them, the clio costs less on insurance a year than it does in road tax!! I think that say's a lot.
I've rang them quite a few times (both insurance policies...
Same boat as me. I've been saving for about a week to buy a car I want, playing shitty survival games one after the other. Now suddenly I've got enough money to buy every car in the game lol
Also just to add to that - I think they've brought it on themselves.
Most I've ever won from a game was £20k. This is supposed to be a virtual crime game? £2k for robbing an armored truck???
It takes weeks and weeks just to buy a half decent car. They surely can't be surprised that people...
The online game is fucked
Last night 3 people had tanks, every time I spawned they killed me. They'd blown just about every police car and helicopter up in a 2 mile radius.
Tonight I'm in races and everyone seems to have modded veyrons, bullet proof tyres etc, so I'm losing every race...
