It's a case of diminishing returns with each generation.
Keep hold of the PS4 and you'll start seeing some games in 2014 that really show off the tech, as developers get to grips with the hardware (you're lucky, i've not even got mine yet!)
^ When comparing the end of one generation to the very beginning of the next - the general feeling is underwhelming imo. (The PS3 was a very slow burner last generation but ended up being the stronger of the three by the end).
Maybe you'd be happier with a XBOne if you rate the 360 so much?
Still weighing up my options - being swayed by the beast of an amp that's the Denon 4520 though (bi-amped fronts and centre).

Cheers for the feedback, I think i'll go for the 213j which has twin bay storage, coupled with initially single Seagate Barracuda NAS 3tb HDD.
This, however, has been suggested as an alternative, much more powerful for transcoding / streaming files on the fly, plus 4 HDD slots and potentially...
Looking for an NAS storage device to store backups / video / music / photos that I can stream to my Android phone, AV receiver, macbook, TV - it also needs to be compatible with Mavericks OSX for time machine backup.
So i'm looking at the Synology DS112J NAS -...
The Anthem 510 has also piqued my interest I have to say - especially as the ARC room calibration system seems to be a step up even from Audyessy XT32 - let alone inferior Audyessy versions!
Also looking at upgrading my speakers. I've always been interested in XTZ speakers, specifically those...
So my VT65 suffers from judder when medium to quick pans are present, but it seems this is the normal telecine judder where as lesser sets would apparently 'blur' the detail. ISF calibration on January will hopefully lessen this issue.
Still looking at receivers and have narrowed it down to the...
Not a bad shout - not sold on the aesthetics entirely though, also what would a flagship amplifier offer me over this? I don't want to 'downgrade' from the 280 you see.
*Edit - also is Audyessy XT32 really that much more superior than MultEQ XT*?
Looking at upgrading my receiver to one that accepts HDMI inputs and also that outputs HD sound.
So far it's looking like either a Denon 4520 or Arcam AVR380.
The Denon has much better connectivity, but the Arcam will undoubtedly produce better musical fidelity - however I do find the Arcam...
What f*cks me off about that, is if they have stock, why aren't they honouring ALL pre-orders first, rather than selling them on their site?
FFS I want my PS4!
2.1 million PS4s sold worldwide so far. Healthy figures.
