A member on FSC has been in contact with the DVLA and they've confirmed that these plates can get away for being "road legal" because they are still European plates and they still comply to European guidelines.

the temperature dial is not connected to the radio wiring on clios older than 06 when the new one was brought out,dunno about the new one.c/l might be just a fuse check it then check fob battery
itll have a yellow aux in,itll be a single phono lead mate.get a camera with mirror mode so that the screen will be the right way round,itll be a separate cable on most cameras just has to be earthed which will mirror it

This guide is for a mk2 clio,mine is specifically on an 02 plate but this can be used as a general guide for other models or any other car as the principals still remain the same.

with the covering up of the grommet, peugeot do an actual part that comes in 3 bits that covers over such holes,it bolts in and cannot be removed from the outside
the track numbers will be listed on the headunit,like it would a cd changer,only thing to remember is only certain types of memory sticks can be used make sure to check compatability
difference is components have a tweeter which is separate and also a crossover which makes the sound quality much better.the tweeter can be placed anywhere (within reason)
get components will sound soo much better and worth the extra pennies
