    Belt kit, cheapest?

Can these be had cheaper anywhere else? I'm aware the water pump is on back order at some places £300 all in for the dephaser, timing and auxiliary belts along with a water pump and everything else needed...

    The Russian goes German

Lol. A 5 series should look great from every angle. E12, E28, E34, E39 all perfect in my eyes to look at. It goes down hill at the e60 then starts to get better with the F10. I've never got on with the e60. Not saying it's a crap car just think it looks wrong, especially from behind unless it's...

    The Russian goes German

Wrong wrong wrong! The e60 is definitely the runt of the litter when it comes to 5 series. It's still a decent car but no way the best shape 5 series and they have lots of issues

    Racing blue 182 Turbo

Man I really want a go in a 172/182 turbo. Reckon it would be hilarious. What sort of price we talking for a basic turbo build and are they reliable?

    Thoughts people?

I love both the gold and red!! Silver on black looks good yes but everyone does it. Including me. Keep them red, really different and works.

How many hours labour is that?

    Wrap or Respray?

Matte purple looks awful. Please don't do it. There's a guy round my way with a matte purple Astra and it is honestly awful looking. Alien green ftw

    Cost to fit an engine?

Cheers lads. So you'd recommend changing the clutch at the same time? I honestly don't know how old it is
  20. Crybert

    Cost to fit an engine?

how much we talking to change over an engine ie 172 engine to 172 engine. Obviously it's a fairly straight forward swap but how much should I expect to pay or how many hours labour is reasonable?

    Removing paint from upper inlet?

As above I want to paint it and I've removed it. It's been painted previously very poorly. Where should I start removing the paint? Just paint stripper? Also fancy doing the head(underneath the inlet) however I wouldn't be removing this. May just leave it as it is. Cheers!

    Should I go to SWR?

Not yet mate. Planning on doing it tomorrow to compare. I can't see them being that much less to be honest. Also further for myself to travel
  26. Crybert

    Should I go to SWR?

Awesome mate:) let me know! Even a small discount would make a difference to me.
  27. Crybert

    Should I go to SWR?

Yeah I've seen that mate. It is probably about right just loathe spending £600 on some belts!! It's crazy money but as you say it'll be a good job.
  28. Crybert

    Should I go to SWR?

I can get ye parts for about £350. Are they likely to be less than £250 for labour? I could have someone do it for me and it would be £450 all in but then you don't have a receipt from a garage and some sort of backup should something go wrong
