My car is currently sorn, i've sorted my insurance to renue on the 9th dec, can i just roll up to a post office on the 10th dec with my insurance and V5 and get a tax disc right away?
As it won't let me do it online, i'm just about to finish my Forces Basic training to don't really have much...
Aux belt is on the service schedule, it's 36k or 5 years, whichever comes first.
Some prices on here, another good sepcialist, I personally wouldn't go to Renault.
IIRC the aux belt comes off when doing the cambelt anyway, so has to be changed?

I was tempted to trade in my 182, but whats the point, it's paid for, i know it's reliable/cracking condition, does "alright" mpg. To get an alright diesel to save a few £s on tax/mpg i'd have to spend a good few £s so don't see the point.
I know lots of people who've changed to new cars to save on tax, paying £1000s more just because it does more MPG
Girl at work traded in a 1.2 fiesta she bought a few months back for 8k (paid 10k) against a new diesel one for 12k to save on mpg and tax.
f**king lol at basically paying £6k to...
I can't believe how much people worry over the tax cost, ok £400+ is a lot, but the 182 at £235 is feck all in the generall running costs of a car over a year.
